Stay involved in making our association great by letting your opinions count in the 2014 APHA Director Election. Every current APHA member is invited to participate in voting, and it’s easier than ever to make your voice heard.

Every year, about half of APHA’s Board of Directors comes up for re-election. The 2014 Director Election is for directors who will begin service in 2015. The election began September 15, and ballots must be received by October 15.

APHA adopted an electronic voting format in 2013 with much success; participation in the election jumped nearly 300% from previous years. Current members received an email notification of the election with instructions for voting—if you did not receive an email, do not have an email address on file with APHA or experience complications with the voting system, contact Theresa Brown at (817) 222-6403 or by email at tbrown@apha.com. One ballot per APHA membership number is available, and ballots cannot be duplicated.

Election results will be announced December 1 on apha.com.
