Mac McGinnis and Shesaezrockingoodbar Win WPSS Non-Pro Longe Line at Tom Powers Futurity

The first of three classes kicked off the Western Pleasure Super Sires schedule today at the 2017 Tom Powers Futurity in Berrien Springs, Michigan. Mac McGinnis of Dalton, GA. led Shesaezrockingoodbar to win the Western Pleasure Super Sires Yearling Non-Pro Longe Line and a check for $5,000! Shesaezrockingoodbar is by The Rock and out of Shezaezzippingoodbar. In addition to a large check, the pair was also presented with a Harris Leather Silver Show Halter, a pallet of shavings from AirLite, and a Rowdy Silver Trophy Buckle.
The Reserve Champion was Nancy Wilkerson Ditty with Huntin A Good One, a yearling by Hubba Hubba Huntin and out of The Essence Is Good. This horse is owned by Stanley or Susan Scott of Ocala, FL. The team received a check for $2,548 and a Rowdy Silver Reserve Buckle.
Placing third was Brett Caplinger showing This Toots Is Hot, by Extremely Hot Chips and out of Tootsee Roll for Heather Caplinger of Xenia, OH. This pair received $2,156. Placing fourth was Kurt Heling of Depere, WI with Rock like A Star, by The Rock and out of Divalicious. This team received $1,372.
Nancy Wilkerson Ditty with Huntin A Good One
Fifth place was Pete Mead with Miss Goody Too Shoes, by One N Only and out of Lil Miss Good Stuf. This pair received $980. Sixth place was Rebecca Smiecinski with Blazing One N Only, by One N Only and out of Hot Little Annie. This team received $882. Seventh place was Harry Stackhouse with Extremely Hot Chili for Melissa Meeks. Extremely Hot Chili is by Extremely Hot Chips and out of Natural Artifact. This team received $784.
Eighth place was Michael Jankowske with When I’m Good N Sleepy (APHA), by Too Sleepy To Zip and out of Paintedgoodnclassy. They received $588. In ninth place was Robert “Skip” Howard with Mechanical Girl, by Mechanic and out of Grand Canyon Girl. They received $490.
