According to a piece just released by local Sauk Valley News, a judge ordered on Wednesday that approximately $90,000 of Rita Crundwell’s retirement fund reimbursements be turned over to the government.
Crundwell had objected to those funds being included in the $54 million she was ordered to pay in restitution to the city of Dixon, Illinois after pleading guilty to wire fraud in 2012.
Other motions that haven’t received decisions yet concern 700 trophies, a show clothing collection, and other personal items, insurance policy refunds on horses, earnings from the APHA Breeders’ Trust Program and more.
