Jarrett Cartee Purchases An Equine Production

Kathy Avolt, Lafayette, IN, would like to announce that valued co-worker and friend, Jarrett Cartee, Collinsville, TX, has officially purchased An Equine Production. Though they have been friends and co-workers for close to 8 years now, Cartee will take over the day-to-day operations.
Avolt says, ‘I have been thinking about this decision for about a year now, and with my recent hospitalization and an elderly parent at home, the timing was right.’ Avolt had purchased the company in 2017 and with the help of her team, has operated some of the largest shows in the country including the Florida Gold & Gulf Coast Shows, The Challenge & The Madness, Stars & Stripes & Big A, Shamrock Shuffle, Indiana Youth Show, the World Equestrian Center’s Orange Blossom, A Sudden Impulse and The Championship, Winner Circuit, the Texas Quarter Horse The Classic, the Las Vegas Silver Dollar and so many others. Routinely, they have managed more than 100,000 AQHA entries a year and some of the largest shows with NSBA entries.
‘I could not think of a more perfect person to take An Equine Production to the next level,’ says Avolt. Avolt and Cartee will work closely together throughout the 2025 show season and she comments, ‘I will be his biggest cheerleader and fan as he changes the industry moving forward.’ Avolt will be at a few select shows in 2026 as well.
