UPDATED HORSE HEALTH REQUIREMENTS – IMPORTANT
In order to ensure the health of all horses attending the 2019 APHA World Championship Show September 16-29 at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, Texas, the following horse health requirements and arrival instructions will be in effect.
- Health certificates must have been issued no earlier than August 30, 2019.
- A negative EIA (Coggin’s) test must have been issued no earlier than September 28, 2018.
NEW: Health certificates dated within 14 days of arrival are required for any horse coming from a state with current Vesicular Stomatitis cases. As of publication, affected states include, but are not limited to, Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming and Oklahoma. Stay up-to-date on these requirements and possible changes that might occur. Health papers will be checked by event staff, with a visual inspection of all horses. This will take place before you can unload animals at the facility.

Equine Promotion, the Official Videographer of the APHA World Championship Shows, will automatically email exhibitors a link to their class video. No sign-up is necessary. Be sure to provide your current email address with your entries to ensure you receive your video emails.
