We would like to congratulate our good friends, Kaleena and Josh Weakly, on the birth of their happy, healthy baby boy, Jax Greyson Weakly, who was born over the weekend on January 24, 2014.
This brings to mind an interview we did with Josh at the 2013 AQHA World Championship Show following his win with FG Coco Chanel in Amateur Weanling Fillies. Check out what he had to say about his hope for a future equestrian discipline for Jax.
“We wondered, with Kaleena’s active participation in amateur all-around events and Josh’s focus on halter classes, what are they hoping will be the discipline of choice for soon-to-be-born ‘Baby Jax’?
“I’m hoping for a tractor baby that maybe doesn’t do the horses,” Josh Weakly says. “Maybe we’ll have a tractor salesman and not a horse-shower. That’s too expensive!”
Although we’re confident that the Weaklys will be very proud parents no matter what direction Jax takes in life, it’s pretty clear that this little boy was born to be a horseman!
Congratulations!
