The Georgia Quarter Horse Association, in cooperation with the Georgia International Horse Park, is home to three of the hottest circuits in horse showing these days.
The Big A encompasses the Stars and Stripes, Hunter Derbies, Show For Dough, and Georgia Gold, making it one of AQHA’s top ranked shows year after year. The location’s many amenities make for an exceptional, exhibitor experience. Numerous riding arenas provide plenty of space and longing pads allow for even more room to exercise. For the riders, there is a concierge lounge, exhibitor hospitality events, daily giveaways, awesome awards, and lots of parties. This event will be held June 25-July 4th in Conyers.
But first, the Georgia On My Mind circuit will take place April 2-11 in cooperation with the Horseman’s Quarter Horse Association to bring eleven judges, added money, Georgia Gold classes, and opportunities for Hunters in Conyers. The event is the result of the combination of the GQHA Pro Am Circuit and HQHA Stock Show Circuit on consecutive weekends.

Stock Show Pool: Sissy Anderson, Robin Griggs, Bruce Walquist, Lori Gordon, Tracy Willis, Clay MacLeod, Shaun Gloude, Allen Mitchels, Kelley Stone-Wainscott, Chris Thompson, David Connors, and Woody Dykers
Pro Am Pool: Robin Frid, Judd Paul, Holly Hover, Kelly McDowall, Sandy Jirkovsky, Brent Tincher, Chad Evans, Lisa Moden, Jeff Greaves, Danielle Burns, Garth Gooding, and Charlene Carter
There will be $36,000 in Georgia Gold Futurity classes up for grabs, as well as $10,000 in Green Western Pleasure, and even more added money. Georgia Gold classes will include 3-Year-Old Open Western Pleasure, 3-Year-Old Open Hunter Under Saddle, and 3-Year-Old Limited Rider Western Pleasure. Horse and rider duos must compete in all three circuits- Stock Show, Pro Am, and Big A to qualify. There will be an additional $5,000 bonus in each class for the highest point earning horse.
