Iowa Company That Had Secured Federal Permit to Resume Horse Slaughter Cancels Plans
Although the U.S. Department of Agriculture recently granted an Iowa-based company, Responsible Transportation, approval to begin slaughtering horses, various news reports indicate that the company has cancelled their plans.
