Some compete for the glory of a Golden Globe, a Congress Jacket, or a Youth World buckle, but there’s something new on the scene…Introducing the coveted Tom Powers Triple Challenge Futurity The Equine Chronicle Powers Pepper! Long name, we know.
On Friday, after the last class of the day at the Futurity, 12 participants will see if they can stand the heat in a very spicy challenge. Competitors will be divided into three groups of four. If you can outlast your fellow pepper-loving enthusiasts, you will move on to a very hot final competition.
Milk and gloves will be available at each table, and a señorita will maintain watch to ensure that the rules are being followed.
