Introducing First Recorded Live Video Virtual Horse Show Series- CINCH VCS

An Equine Production

The CINCH Virtual Championship Series is a unique version of the growing trend of online shows. This show series strives to be consistent with many aspects of a regular horse show.

Exhibitors will record live videos to submit for their entries. Pre-recorded videos will not be accepted. Entries will be taken through the CINCH Horse Show Tracker web app at www.horseshowtracker.com. When the exhibitor steps to the cone and presses record on their phone, their run will begin.

This show series will be open to competitors across all breeds and experience levels. People will be able to compete against one another in their division and also in specific sidepots. The main class will offer a multitude of sidepots, but only one entry video will be used for judging.

One of the goals for this show series is to utilize a deep payout model for more exhibitors to have the chance to win money regardless of their experience level.

Exhibitors will have the opportunity to add on additional critiques of their patterns from judges, so that they can further advance their skills. This will be a great educational tool for exhibitors to gain perspective from a judge’s point of view. More educational features will be released in the future.

The CINCH Virtual Championship Series hopes to not only provide a professional format of competition consistent with what exhibitors have experienced in the past, but also an opportunity for everyone, no matter how experienced, to show their horse in these new and unusual circumstances.

The first CVCS Show #1 will take place from now until May 2nd. The judges pool is John Boxell, Jennifer Leckey, Casey Orr, Teresa Pelton, Mark Russell, Amy Watkins, and Tracy Willis. The first block of classes consists of Showmanship, Equitation, and Horsemanship through April 25th. The entry deadline is Friday, April 24th at midnight CST. The video deadline for the first block of classes is Saturday, April 25th at midnight CST.

The second block of classes will include Trail, Ranch Riding, Western Pleasure, and Hunter Under Saddle from April 24th- May 2nd. The entry deadline for the second block is Friday, May 1st at midnight, CST. The video deadline for the second block of classes is Saturday, May 2nd at midnight, CST.
