The Appaloosa Pleasure Horse Association’s Color World Series concluded with their second event at the 2019 Appaloosa World Championship Show this year. The first event was held in conjunction with the NSBA World Show. This year, both futurities were expanded to include all color breed registered horses, and the participation seen was a result of that move to be more inclusive.
The Trainers’ Incentive Fund paid out $17,820 in six classes. $2,500 was added to all ten classes, which paid out $36,815 in total, plus an additional $8,000 in prizes!
A special award was presented to the winner of the Color World Series 3-Year-Old Western Pleasure in honor of the late Stanley Ryan. Arturo Maestas and Im Vicki Vale were the winners of the Stanley Ryan Memorial Cup. Click here to read more.
