In Loving Memory of Multiple World Champion, Wonit On My RV- “Moses”

Our sincerest condolences go out to Charlotte Brooks and her family, as well as everyone at Arrington Performance Horses following the passing of Wonit On My RV. Charlotte and her beloved “Moses” have had a spectacular year thus far with big wins at every major horse show they attended.
At the recent American Roan Horse Association World Show, Moses was the Overall High Point Horse and tied for the All Around Open title. Charlotte and Moses were the All Around Youth team and World Champions in Halter, Equitation, Western Riding, and Western Pleasure. They were Reserve Champions in Trail, Hunter Under Saddle, and Showmanship. Moses was also the Reserve Champion in Senior Hunter Under Saddle and All Age Western Riding.
At the AQHA Youth World Show, Charlotte and Moses were the Reserve Champions in 13 and under Level 2 and bronze champions in 13 and under Level 3 Performance Halter Geldings. They were also the bronze champions in L1 13 and under Western Riding. They were Top 10 in 13 and Under L1 Trail, 13 and Under L1 Western Pleasure, and L1 Performance Halter Geldings.
At the NSBA World Show, just last week, Charlotte and Moses were Top 5 in 13 and under Trail, Top 10 in 13 and under Western Pleasure, and Top 15 in 13 and under Equitation.
But more important than the awards, ribbons, and titles this young team achieved together, Moses was simply a horse who loved a little girl.
Charlotte’s mother, Jean Brooks, shared this message on her social media that captures the bond her daughter shared with this special roan horse. “Moses has taken Charlie beyond her dreams. He was the sweetest horse with the best heart. If you ever met Moses you knew his funny personality and floppy ears. He always gave 100% in the show pen. He loved his little girl. and his little girl loves him. We never thought this day would come so soon. Thank you Christie, Ricky, and Clay [Arrington] for trying to save our beloved Moses. I know both of our households are in serious mourning. The year and a half we had with Moses was a true gift.”
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Brooks and Arrington families following the sad news of a promising young team whose journey was cut short much too soon.
