KM YOU MAKE IT EASY
2018-2023

Our condolences to the Rusty Green Show Horses family, owner John McNichol, and everyone who loved KM You Make It Easy on the loss of their beloved “Phoebe.”

Katie Green posted this tribute on their page on Monday, September 25th:

“John, I want you to know how grateful we are to have had the time we did with “Phoebe.” Rusty and I both say she’s the best horse we’ve ever had the honor to ride. Thank you for always standing by me and her as a team. Watching you succeed with her in the show pen, will always be my proudest moment. Fly high sweet girl.”

Phoebe (The Lopin Machine x KM Suddenly So Easy by RL Best of Sudden) had just recently been crowned the 2023 Circuit Champion in Level 3 Junior Western Pleasure at The Big A with Katie, as well as Reserve Circuit Champion in Select Western Pleasure with John, and she was leading the nation in Open, Jr, and Select Western Pleasure.

Earlier this year, Phoebe and Katie won the Fun in the Sun Extravaganza Super Sires Open Maturity WP Stakes with Katie, earning a check for $1,425.00, a Super Sires silver tray, neck ribbon and an NSBA trophy.

In 2022, Katie and Phoebe  won a Bronze Championship at the All American Quarter Horse Congress in Junior Western Pleasure and Phoebe earned many other notable titles as a young horse, and her loss will be felt throughout the industry.
