Important Information For 2018 AQHA Ranching Heritage Challenge Finals

AQHA Ranching Heritage-bred horses that qualify as 4-, 5- and 6-year-olds will compete in the same age group in which they qualified during the 2017 Zoetis AQHA Ranching Heritage Challenges.
Youth who will be 19 as of January 1, 2018, will still compete as youth at the 2018 Zoetis AQHA Ranching Heritage Challenge Finals.
“Although age divisions and the qualifying period were changed for the 2018 Zoetis AQHA Versatility Ranch Horse World Championships, there are no changes the Zoetis AQHA Ranching Heritage Finals,” said Kim Lindsey, AQHA director of ranching. “The finals qualifying period remains January 1 to December 31 of each year, and the age divisions also remain the same.”
The 2018 Zoetis AQHA Ranching Heritage Challenge Finals will be held in conjunction with the Zoetis VRH World June 14-17, 2018, at the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, Oklahoma.
Zoetis AQHA Ranching Heritage Challenges highlight the versatility, soundness and willing attitude of American Quarter Horses that are bred by AQHA Ranching Heritage Breeders. To become eligible for the 2018 Zoetis AQHA Ranching Heritage Finals, Challenge-enrolled horses must have competed in at least one of the six Ranching Heritage Challenges in 2017.
