We asked our Equine Chronicle fans to answer the following question: If you had a t-shirt with a quote that perfectly summed up your mantra as an equestrian, what would it say? We received some hilarious answers and a few great photos!

Scroll below to view them all. Be sure to follow The Equine Chronicle on Facebook and answer our Question of the Week for the chance to be included in an upcoming article.

Emma Stamps Dale– “It would say, ‘Just ride it.’ That’s what I tell myself when my horse gives me attitude or goes wild while I’m in an English saddle!”

Chayna DeNicolo Petrocci– “Early-teacher retirement = Running the barn full-time!”

Beth Merritt Cook– “It would say, ‘Don’t go gettin’ hysterical.’ A trainer once told me that, and now I say it to myself when I need to stop and think through what I’m doing. It’s really useful.”

Rachel Schoepf– “You did not wake up today to be mediocre.”

Casey Caldwell– “If I can’t win, I’m going to take my toys and go home.”

Kendra Kaus– “Mine is the same one in the first picture! It has become my riding shirt. ‘Hold on, let me overthink this.’”

Kerry Papendick– “I personally needed that [overthinking] T-shirt all week at the NSBA World Show!”

Tracey Howard– “Driving my husband crazy one horse at a time.”

Lauren Louw– “My neck. My back. My anxiety attack.”

Elizabeth Lynch Gannon– “Put your big girl panties on.”

Alefa Eserjose– “Suck it up, buttercup.”

Debby Brehm– “Get your legs back.”

Lori Collier Augsburger– “Welcome to the sh*t show.”

John Konecne– “I’m dying a slow death… one Select at a time.”

Laura Salome– “Just do the damn thing.”
