A California horse owner has filed a complaint against a transportation firm, alleging that the transporter is responsible for a wreck that killed two horses and injured several others.
Attorney Amy June, of the Hudson Martin Ferrante Street Witten & June PC law firm, said she—along with co-council from the Vick Law Group—filed a complaint on behalf of horse owner Shan DeWay on June 5. The complaint alleges that Matthew Gillespie, manager of the Triple-AC-Ranch in Arizona, was responsible for a March 28 accident that killed two horses and injured five others.
