Horse Show Foodies – Get your Game on!
As part of the 2019 Congress Lecture Series, we will be hosting an event in the Congress Lecture Hall on Saturday, October 12th at 3pm focusing on how to create delicious food dishes at any horse show to share with your barn family.
As part of the fun, we will host a cook-off in four separate categories (breakfast, hot main dish/appetizer, cold main dish/appetizer, and desserts). To celebrate the national scope of the Congress, recipe entries are to represent the taste and flair of your geographic region. The six geographic regions are: Pacific U.S., Frontier/Central U.S., Midwest U.S., Southern U.S., Northeast U.S., and Canada!
1st and 2nd place awards given to the most delicious dish from each category which best exhibits the culinary characteristics and flair of the region represented.
Entry forms available on Congress website, at the Information Booth in Congress Hall, or in the Lecture Hall on the day of event.
