Oklahoma City-based Shorty’s Caboy Hattery joined APHA to provide high-quality custom cowboy hats in support of several AjPHA Youth initiatives and the association’s two annual world championship events.
Lavonna “Shorty” Koger, owner of Shorty’s Caboy Hattery, has been a mainstay in the equine community, and it’s through her experience and dedication to quality that Shorty’s hats honor cowboy tradition with style and value. Shorty’s creates quality handmade hats of varying colors and styles to fits every customer’s personality and shapes them just right to bring out the wearer’s best features.
As part of the new World Show partnership, four lucky APHA members will receive Shorty’s Caboy Hattery gift certificates valued at $1,000 each. Two gift certificates are earmarked for Youth awards: the AjPHA Youth World Show’s Reserve Power Performance Youth winner will receive one, and the other will be presented to the AjPHA Youth World Games Sportsmanship Award winner, chosen by anonymous judges at the competition, which takes place in September 2016 in Kreuth, Germany. Two more Shorty’s Caboy Hattery gift certificates will be presented as part of all-around and high-point award packages at the 2016 APHA World Championship Show in November.
