Last night, I had to say goodbye to my best friend. A Good Storm, aka “Teddy,” had to be laid to rest due to a health issue. This is still a shock to me, and I cannot find words to express how my family and I are feeling. Teddy was truly a big part of our family, and we loved him with all of our hearts. He had the biggest personality, and he showed us how much he loved us in everything that he did. Even in our final moments together, Teddy was so loving and seemed so happy to see us.
Teddy has taken me to places that I thought I could never go. He performed to the best of his ability, day in and day out. Teddy has made a hugely positive impact on my life, and I cannot thank him enough for all that he gave and continues to give me.
There are so many people that helped Teddy along the way, and I cannot thank them enough.
Rebecca and Wayne Halvorson helped Teddy in more ways than anyone can ever imagine. I can’t thank you guys enough for all that you have done for him. I would also like to thank Eddie and Alexandria Falk, Jamie Murrow, Ray Carmean Quarter Horses and Tonya Alexander-Carmean, John Shepard, Danielle Botterman Shepard, Trista North, Carla Wennberg, Manny, Kelli, and Lauren Diaz, Rhonda Harter, Tommy, Debby, and Brooks Nicole Spicer, Kerry Winter, Sean and Dawn Mullins, Steve Meadows, Ken Adkins, Wayne and Amanda McCollum Diamond, Keith and Sydney Miller, Shannon and Paige Wacker, and Austin and Lauren Halvorson.
Thank you all for your kind words and encouragement; it means a lot to me and my family.
I know that Teddy loved every one of you, and I cannot thank you all enough for all that you have done for him.
I will miss Teddy so much, and the coming days will be hard. I love him with all of my heart. He was and still is my best friend.
A Good Storm
