The 2018 Fox Lea Farm Winter Circuit and NSBA Fun In The Sun Extravaganza wrapped up over the weekend in Venice, Florida, capping off an incredible three show circuit that accumulated a whopping 27,000 total entries! According to An Equine Production show management team, the Florida Gold Coast, Florida Gulf Coast, and Fox Lea Farm Winter circuit and NSBA Fun In The Sun Extravaganza accumulated the impressive entry total across all divisions and all judges.

With six sets of points, a brand new schedule, parties, awards and a relaxing day off from the competition, the Fox Lea Farm Winter Circuit and NSBA Fun In The Sun brought out the big guns to compete in tough classes for top honors. Judges were Andrea Simons, Kelly McDowall, Jim Searles, Liz Baker, Ryan Kail, Kathryn Kope, Brent Tincher, Tanya Green, Tina Anderson, Tracy Willis, Will Knabenshue, Steve Meadows, Rick Christy, Scott Hofstetter, Robin Swinderman, Pam Hunt, and Dacia Johnson.

Class sizes remained high through the circuit, despite some inclement weather towards the beginning of the show.

Big winners during the NSBA Futurity portion of the event included Russ Kimbrell, who rode The Batt Machine to win Select Western Pleasure and $340. Jay Starnes rode Million to 1 to win Green Western Pleasure and $225. Becky George and HP Good Margarita won $280 in the 4-Year-Old and Over Novice Horse Trail. Stephanie Armellini and Rumors Inthe Dark won $320 in Green Trail.

Rusty Green and Made In The Shade won $525 in Maturity Open Western Pleasure. In the Maturity Open Hunter Under Saddle, Keith Miller rode WF Big Asset to win $600. Brian Baker and No Doubting Me won $400 in the 3-Year-Old Western Pleasure Futurity. Sarah Nimigan and Al Wayz On Your Mind won $450 in Maturity Non Pro Hunter Under Saddle. Clay Arrington and Get Radical In My RV won $200 in 3-Year-Old Non Pro Western Pleasure.

Libby Rinder took the top two spots in Amateur Trail with Hot Rockin Potential and I Dance In The Dark, respectively earning $200 and $150. Whitney Lagace rode I Dance In The Dark to win Senior Trail and $340.
