Because this weekend is Mother’s Day, we have a special Flashback Friday Foto to share with our readers. These images were captured last year at the 2013 APHA Open and Amateur World Championship Show when roles were reversed for mother-daughter duo, Dianne and Calli Rouse.
After years of watching daughter Calli compete in youth all-around events with her mare Chansation, it was finally Dianne’s turn to take a trip around the show pen.
Giving Mom some last minute advice!
Calli’s last minute advice to Mom must have been helpful, because Diane and Chansation earned a sixth place finish in Novice Amateur Hunter Under Saddle and an eighth place finish in Masters Amateur Hunter Under Saddle!
Now it’s the daughter’s turn to watch nervously from the sidelines.
