Final Evening Festivities at 2013 AQHA World Show: Weakly Wins Leading Owner, Hornick Wins Senior Pleasure, Vickery Wins Junior Western Riding

It’s been a fun fifteen days of intense competition, but this evening marks the conclusion of the final day of the 2013 AQHA World Championship Show. Wrapping up the last evening finals performances were Junior Western Riding and Senior Western Pleasure.
The winner of the Amateur Western Pleasure, A Certain Vino, returned to the winner’s circle, this time with trainer, Karen Hornick, to claim the World Championship title in Senior Western Pleasure. The Reserve World Champion was Adam Wainscott with Huntin Big Dreams for Angela Wade. Third place was Rusty Green with Only Ever After. Fourth place was Kenny Lakins with One Lazy Investment. Fifth place was Gil Galyean with Legal Machine.
In the Junior Western Riding, Bruce Vickery rode a red roan mare named Strawberri Wine to a win in Junior Western Riding with a score of 228. Vickery was in the saddle this evening for owner Jeremy Guthrie. The Reserve World Champion was Jason Martin with Dunit On The Range for Jane Humes. Third place was Nancy Alto-Renfro riding Nothin Compares. Fourth place was Reid Thomas aboard Huntin By Moonlite. Fifth place was Brad Ost with UF A Certain Star.

Capping off the evening was the announcement of the 2013 AQHA World Show OKC Leading Owner award, which was presented to Josh and Kaleena Weakly. Congratulations to all of the big winners!
