Equine Affaire
It is with great sadness and disappointment that we announce that Equine Affaire scheduled to take place April 2-5 at the Ohio Expo Center has been cancelled. This cancellation is based upon the evolving COVID-19 virus threat that is sweeping not only our state and nation, but also the globe. Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and the Ohio Department of Health have issued an executive order prohibiting mass gatherings and events from taking place within the State of Ohio until further notice as a precautionary measure against the spread of COVID-19.
The staff and management of Equine Affaire highly value the health and well-being of all who enthusiastically support Equine Affaire from year to year, and this cancellation is not something we take lightly. We have weighed a variety of scenarios and, unfortunately, rescheduling the event within the coming year simply is not a possibility.
If we have an agreement with your company in regards to this event, I will be reaching out individually to discuss how this impacts our partnership. As the cancellation of the event was in no way anticipated, please allow us a bit of time to assess and identify the right path forward. I will be back in touch with you by March 25th with further details and appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to finalize these plans.
Please remember, we are all in this together, all sharing the economic burden, and all looking to the future. By working together, we can all ensure our future successes. We look forward to seeing you at a future Equine Affaire and wish everyone the best of health and well-being as we navigate the unique and challenging times before us.
