Right about now, you should be walking down the Midway, trying to decide between a Sweet Shop cinnamon roll or a German cream puff. You might take a stroll through the Gilligan to check out the elaborate stall decorations before enjoying the fall foliage on the trees outside of the Coliseum. Of course, no trip to the Congress is complete without a visit to Puppy Alley and the Trade Show to check out the incredible variety of vendors displaying their wares. And that’s all before you’ve even made it to the Celeste to watch top horses and riders in the country compete for the coveted title of Congress Champion.
Suffice to say, we’re all missing the Congress this year. However, you can relive the memories from years gone by as we share some of our favorite articles, interviews with winners, videos, and photos from the past. Stay tuned to EquineChronicle.com and our social media accounts for our #CongressFromHome series throughout the next two weeks.
The Equine Chronicle has been a Corporate Partner of the Congress for more than ten years and the title sponsor of the year’s most anticipated event, the 2-Year-Old Congress Masters. As the industry’s leading publication, it only makes sense that we would partner with the largest single-breed event in the world for the mutual promotion of the industry’s most elite equines and their talented riders. The Equine Chronicle family is proud to be a longtime partner of the Ohio Quarter Horse Association and Quarter Horse Congress, and we eagerly anticipate returning to Columbus in 2021!
