Sarah and Hanah Eberspacher are twin girls who share more than just their birthday; they share a love of horses. Having taken the AQHA youth scene by storm, the two girls are working hard to constantly improve their riding abilities and their horses’ performance.
“They’re extremely competitive, but they’re super supportive of each other,” says their horse trainer, Becky George. “It’s really impressive to me that they’re happy no matter which sister wins. If Hanah does well, Sarah is happy. If Sarah does well, Hanah is happy. They never cease to amaze me.”
Becky describes the two girls as being very determined and hard workers. She believes the innate support system they have developed as twins contributes to their success in the show pen. “They both want to see each other succeed, and I think that makes a difference.”
Like Sarah shares on her Facebook profile, #TwinningIsWinning! How long have you been showing horses? Hanah says, “I started about 10 years ago. I started out in Leadline competition. My older sister started out with a pony, and it’s kind of grown from there!”
Sarah says, “I started riding at the age five, and then I went on to show in local shows. We both grew up with ponies, and then we found Quarter Horses.”
