EC Photo of the Day: Trail Practice!

11-year-old Cher Blackwell has come up with an innovative way to memorize her Trail patterns thanks to some help from colorful pencils and a Breyer horse! Cher will be competing at the upcoming Dixie Nationals in Jackson, Mississippi with her horse Star In The Machine in Novice Youth Trail, 13 and Under Trail, Halter, Horsemanship, Hunter Under Saddle, Equitation, and Ranch Riding.

Here’s what Cher has to say about competing in one of her favorite classes. “I enjoy Trail, because it makes me use all my maneuvers my horse knows how to do, and I just enjoy the challenge of getting through the patterns.”
