“Chex and I were meant to be together. I was 12 when she was born. “She’s 16 this year and looking better than ever. We’ve done some small shows and ranch riding, but mostly trails all over the country. She’s my absolute best friend, and I’m grateful for every day we get together. We’ve grown up together and had each other through the good and the bad. She’s definitely a one person horse, and I love that about her. She will do anything I ask and always protect me.”
