“This picture is from 2009 at the SJPHC Show in Turlock, California,” explains Jennifer. “Gail Bates was trying for a family photo I could send to my Mom in NY. After all, she wanted grandkids and all I ever gave her was a grand horse! Needless to say, Eddie started snuzzling my ear and I broke out into tears of laughter.”
Jennifer says this cherished photo hangs prominently in her parents’ house all these years later. “My mom got an annual Gail portrait until she passed away in 2017. Eddie passed away last year due to laminitis. Take all the pictures and cherish them. You’ll never know which is the last.”
