EC Cover Boy, My Intention, Sire of EIGHT Trophy Winners at Select World Show

Surely by now you’ve seen our beautiful cover of the August/September 2019 edition featuring AQHA stallion, My Intention. The 13-year-old Halter horse, known to his family and friends as “Big Red,” is poised to reach the two million dollar mark in offspring earnings in 2019, further cementing his place as the All Time Leading Sire of Money Earning Halter Horses.

As of press time for the edition, Red was only $42,000 shy, and with the Breeder’s Halter Futurity fast approaching, he will undoubtedly surpass that mark in 2019.

The cause recently received a big boost at the AQHA Select World Show when several of Red’s offspring received top accolades. Red sired FOUR World Champions at the show: Inexces, My Bravado, Illicit Intention, and Trillions. He sired TWO Reserve World Champions: Cruisin Intentions and Luckly Employed. He was the sire of TWO bronze champions: Wisshes and Total Intention.

In all, Red had 14 foals that qualified, competed, and placed at the Select World Show. The horses fell into a fairly even split with four mares, three stallions, and seven geldings that spanned age divisions including weanling, yearling, 2-year-old, three-year-old, and aged.
