Been following along the past few days and still have no idea what’s IN for fashion at the NFR? Don’t worry! The very first annual Denim & Velvet Fashion Show is here to rescue you! Held on the Ride TV stage in Stetson’s Country Christmas, it was standing room only as they presented the hottest looks of 2017.
There were six sections ranging from the “Mad Hatter” to “Sin City.” The men were conservative in Stetson starched jeans and button down shirt to the life of the party with a Charlie Horse 1 hat and serape jacket. For women, it was all about bell bottoms, velvet, and overalls with one shocking new trend: over the knee boots!
Halfway through the fashion show, Ride TV announced the formation of a new charity organization. The purpose of this group will be to help any horseman get back on their feet after disaster, whether it be flood, fire, or personal tragedy. A live auction was held and the highest bid item was a Resistol 40x hat.
Now that we’ve learned what pieces we need to add to our closet, we’re off to ride the roller coaster at New York, New York!
