JACKSON, MS. – November 27, 2024

Preparations are underway for the Dixie National Equestrians with Disabilities Show scheduled for February 4 & 5, 2025, at the Kirk Fordice Equine Center, on the State Fairgrounds in Jackson, MS.

This year will truly be bigger and better than ever before. We will offer 4 sets of AQHA points, 4 sets of NSBA points, and 4 sets of PHBA points. Don’t forget, the composite winner in each class is awarded the coveted Dixie National Jacket. Mississippi Quarter Horse Youth Association (MQHYA) invites every EWD rider from all over the country to come and join us in a competitive yet friendly environment.

Taylor Breland, President of the Mississippi Quarter Horse Youth Association, says, “The Mississippi Quarter Horse Youth Association is thrilled to continue to host the annual Equestrians with Disabilities Show, a division of the Dixie National Quarter Horse Show. This wonderful opportunity allows horse enthusiasts and equestrians from all over the United States to come together at the Kirk Fordice Equine Center in Jackson, Mississippi, in February of each year and participate in the largest Equestrians with Disabilities show in the country. Throughout the years, this has continued to be my favorite project sponsored through our youth association.”

“This wonderful event is hosted at no cost to the exhibitors!!!  We have wonderful sponsors and donors, who allow us to organize this life-changing event each year. Also, the youth are extremely grateful to all of our wonderful volunteers, show staff, and judges, who return each year to donate their time to make this an A+ experience for our exhibitors. Of course, we always welcome additional volunteers, so if you feel led to do so, do not hesitate to donate your time to this rewarding cause. I can assure you that you will feel blessed in many ways, and you will impact our exhibitors’ lives. I kindly ask for you to join all of us in Jackson, Mississippi, as we come together to host this joyous event.”
