We are getting very close to deadlines to enter stakes classes within the upcoming WCHA Supreme Championship Show but first things first: ………….. you really need to make your stall reservations, your hotel reservations at our host hotel, or if you are staying in our VIP LOT you will need to reserve asap.

1. Your class entry form……….

1. This is the form to enter your AQHA or APHA breed classes,  every horse that enters a stakes class must enter corresponding breed class.  You can enter at the show “at no late fees”.
2. One form per horse and then you include exhibitor information for every person who will show this horse in amateur, open or youth.
3. SEND THIS ENTRY FORM TO JARRETT CARTEE! These AQHA/APHA entry forms DO NOT go to Berta Falcon.
4. (However send your STAKES ENTRY FORMS to Berta)
5. Remember:   We are offering 4 AQHA Pointed Shows and 4 APHA Pointed Shows
6. We are sparing no expense in providing you 8 of our most respected halter judges in the industry, show to 4 judges in amateur class and then you get 4 “different judges” in your open classes for a redo.

 

1. The Showbill with class numbers and also order of classes.

1. Special Stakes Classes:  EVERY HORSE ENTERED IN A STAKES CLASS WILL RECEIVE A PAYBACK!

• $30,000 Added River Oaks Ranch Yearling Maiden ……… for yearlings of any breed who have NEVER BEEN SHOWN……. Period.
• $10,000 Added River Oaks Ranch Two Year Old Maiden………. For two year olds of any breed who have NEVER BEEN SHOWN
• $30,000 Added Diamond In The Rough Stakes……… for yearlings and two year olds that SOLD in the Special DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH SALE
• $30,000 Added River Oaks Ranch Yearling “Non Pro” Super Stakes……… This stakes class is OPEN to ANY Yearling Nominated With WCHA ……. Any Breed !

1. And then we offer “limited” stakes classes within EVERY AQHA and EVERY APHA class with the exception of Youth or Amateur Yearling …….

• Limited means that the horse has not won a world championship title in AQHA or APHA
• So many options for you to choose from – some horses can compete in the maiden classes plus the River Oaks plus the Diamond In The Rough plus the stakes within your AQHA & APHA classes !!!

 

1. Stall Reservation Form:   Stall reservations must be sent to Jarrett Cartee.  I’ve attached the Stall Chart in this email to make your requests easier.

1. Show Sponsors and Trainers whose service sold in the 2025 Trainer’s Auction receive stall priority.

• Not too late to become a show sponsor!  This is YOUR association, YOUR CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW, please donate what you can so that you can take more money home with you!
• Get a group together and become a TEAM SPONSOR.
• Sponsors receive stall preferences, sponsor tables along the rail, larger sponsorships may also cover both Supreme Show & WCHA Breeder’s Championships in Fort Worth this fall.
• In Appreciation to our Trainers whose service sold in the auction:  We will give you ONE FREE TACK STALL; make request with Jarrett and Don will verify.
• EARLY ARRIVALS:  Unless you are staying over from the Paint Show held the previous weekend you will not be allowed to arrive prior to 6pm on Tuesday, May13th. No Exceptions!

 

1. WCHA VIP RV Reservation Form:   Only 28 spaces available in the paved lot closest to the barns.  All other rv reservations must be made through Ok State Fair in other lots.

 

1. HOST HOTEL :   Special Rates but you must reserve through Dawn Causey at:  dawncausey1@gmail.com :  Hilton Garden Inn:  Full Breakfast, large rooms.

• Judges attending the WCHA Judges Seminar: Book your rooms through Dawn.

 

1. ESTIMATED PAYOUTS FOR THIS YEAR’S SHOW EXCEED $200,000 ………… plus a BUNCH of AQHA and APHA points with 8 judges (4 shows, 4 sets of points)

 

1. In addition to the large number of halter points awarded and the $200,000 in paybacks we are giving out over $40,000 in awards !!!…………. some REALLY COOL TROPHIES, BUCKLES and SPECIAL STERLING SILVER TROPHY KNIVES awarded in every class.

 

1. This is NOT just another weekend horse show my friends, you won’t want to miss it !!…….. You can get qualified for the AQHA World Show in ONE WEEKEND and have a great time socializing with your halter buddies!!

 

1. Stakes Classes:   I assure you it will be beneficial for everyone to enter the stakes classes so that you get a piece of over $200,000 we will be paying out,  every horse will receive a payback !!!   For more information and forms to enter the stakes classes go to our website:

1. This show offers a class for every halter horse in your barn !! :

1. If your horse has won a world title it can still come and compete for halter points AND the title of WCHA SUPREME CHAMPION
2. If your horse has NOT won a world title they can compete for halter points plus the title of WCHA SUPREME CHAMPION ……… plus compete in the Limited Stakes and earn significant $$$$$ !!
3. Youth Halter:   Joy and Jeff Stehney are sponsoring beautiful trophy buckles in each and every youth class to the champion of the class !!!    Youth exhibitors can also compete in the River Oaks and Diamond In The Rough Stakes classes if horse is eligible.

 

I think that’s it……… I just want to thank ALL the generous people who have already stepped forward to put forth significant effort in both sponsorship dollars and volunteers to help organize !!!   We have some wonderful people in this association who give back more than they receive because they want everyone to reap the rewards of raising and showing halter horses!
