Day 1 at the Stars N Stripes and Big A With Jordan Davis

Hey y’all! Day 1 of the Stars N Stripes started with torrential downpours, which made for a muddy mess! However, this didn’t deter the Showmanship and Halter exhibitors. The Novice, 13& Under, and 14-18 Showmanship all had over 20 entries! There were lots of beautiful runs and lots of circuit championships awarded.

Circuit champions in the Novice were Ava Pratt with Sleepin I Will Be. In 13 & Under, it was Isabella Himes with Assets Miss Reba. The L2 14-18 circuit champions were Kenzi Bailey with Rollin N Chocolate. Finally, in the L3 14-18, Grace Ann Himes won with Essentially Good. While I wasn’t a circuit champion, I was extremely proud of my super green Showmanship horse, Lazy Illusion. We managed to pick up a few points in the 14-18!

The skies finally cleared long enough for the Hunter Under Saddle exhibitors to be able to show outside, but, that didn’t last long… The Equitation had to be moved under the cover. Now, everyone is looking forward to a full day of nothing but Trail, Trail, and more Trail!
