The 13-day, 50th anniversary Pinto World Championship Show is well underway in Tulsa, Oklahoma and has drawn an impressive crowd of multi-disciplined competitors from around the United States and the globe. Horses and riders specializing in disciplines ranging from the familiar, like Halter, Hunter Under Saddle, and Showmanship, to the more unique, like Western Dressage, Bareback Equitation, and In-Hand Jumping, have gathered at the Built Ford Tough Livestock Complex to compete for the title of Pinto World Champion.
But the crowd doesn’t just come for the high quality equine competition. There is a laundry list of special events at the show like a Costume Class, Dog Show Competition, Challenged Riders’s Leadline, Versatility Showcase, Horses4Heroes Free Ride, Charity Walk Trot, Ice Cream Social, 2nd annual Youth Judging Contest, and much more.
“The Pinto Horse Association is excited to continue such a successful show,” says Darrell Bilke, PtHA Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. “In addition to the horse show, I look forward to seeing everyone have a great time at our special events.”
Take a look at some of the special events scheduled for the remainder of this week:
