Court to Determine Whether Crundwell’s Pension Should be Part of Court-Ordered Restitution
According to an Associated Press piece posted by the Peoria Journal Star, a court is set to determine later this month whether Rita Crundwell’s pension fund should be part of the court-ordered restitution to the City of Dixon, Illinois.
Crundwell was convicted of stealing approximately $54 million in city funds over a 22 year period and is currently serving a nearly 20 year sentence in a Federal Correctional Institution in Minnesota.
