purchase of Iron Lion Zion, the 2019 Brown Stallion by Hubba Hubba Huntin and out of These Irons R

Ready, a proven cross.

Iron Lion Zion is aptly named for the Bob Marley song, Iron Lion Zion, about “the promised land.” His repertoire includes wins as a 2-Year-Old Hunter Under Saddle Congress Reserve Champion and a 2022 Fox Lea Winter Circuit Circuit and Futurity Champion.

“I’m really excited about Zion because I’ve loved watching him show since he was a 2-year-old,” explains Kayla. “I’m super honored to be able to own him and ride him in the non pro 3s this year. I’m thrilled for this team’s future under the guidance of Stacy Huls.”

Stacy says that “Zion” is her kind of horse: big bodied, beautiful, great-minded, with substance and presence.  “He will be Made in the South’s replacement for Kayla Budine in 2023, and we are excited to offer him in the future as a stallion to the public. We would like to thank Mark and Judy Zeitler and Richard and Betty Jo Carr for the opportunity.”

Now Zion will be going on to the 2022 All American Quarter Horse Congress. He’s also qualified for the Level 3 Junior Hunter Under Saddle at the AQHA World Show, and we wish the Budines and Stacy Huls Lane the best of luck!
