It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Tom Little on January 29, surrounded by family in Phoenix.

Tom is survived by his wife, Carolyn; his sons, Shawn (Capri), Ryan (Wanda), Scott, and Monty (Sabrina); and daughter Kimberly (Tim); as well as his much-cherished nine grandchildren, McKinnon, Lane, Augusta, Nathaniel, Grant, Griffin, Grace, Sydney and Andrew, who will all miss him. He will also be missed by his sister, Jacqueline Smith (Pat), and numerous nieces and nephews. Tom is the son of the late Jack and Edna Little, formerly of Great Falls.

Tom had a wonderful life where his family came first. He accumulated friends from all corners of the world and maintained these cherished friendships throughout his life.

Tom was born in Great Falls, Montana, on May 30, 1937. Tom made his home in Kalispell, Montana, where he raised his family and was the owner of Snow Line Tree Co. He was actively involved in the Quarter Horse industry and an honorary vice president of the American Quarter Horse Association for the state of Montana. He proudly served on the Flathead County (Montana) Fair board for 10 years and was a longstanding member of the Elks Club.

As expressions of sympathy, memorial gifts can be made to the general scholarship fund of the American Quarter Horse Foundation. Gifts may be telephoned to 806-378-5029 or mailed to American Quarter Horse Foundation, P.O. Box 32111, Amarillo, TX 79120.

A celebration of life is being planned for this summer where Tom’s many friends and family will gather, with the date to follow.
