“Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin.”- Mother Teresa.
Immortality – it’s what drives people to leave their mark on the world, whether as a songwriter, an actor, an athlete, or as a parent. We all want to leave a legacy and know we’ve impacted the world in a positive way. But how can we do this as horsemen?
By changing the industry and our mindset, and by challenging ourselves to have our horses receive the best, including the best of ourselves. That’s why Alex Ross, Tommy Sheets, and Troy Oakley will offer an opportunity this September in Eaton, Ohio, to help us solidify our purpose in the horse industry.
The clinic is open to all, trainers and customers alike, like every single session of Troy’s “Have Knowledge, Will Travel” events.

September 27 & 28, 2024
Bullen Equestrian Center, Eaton, Ohio
Alex Ross: Ranch Riding
Tommy Sheets: Trail
Troy Oakley: Horsemanship, Equitation, Turn Arounds, Lead Changes, Maintaining a Good Top-Line and Legs.
They wish to share their knowledge to change the lives of horsemen and break down barriers of old-school thinking that taking a clinic is a risk to trainers. It’s the reason Troy cringes at the word “clinic,” and uses the word “mentor” in his communication – he says as horsemen, we are all lifetime learners.
So with that new mindset, consider the details:
“Bring your clientele and come,” says Troy. “Thank you from the three of us – we look forward to sharing our knowledge with y’all! As Ronald Reagan once said, “Tear down this wall!”
