SmartPak is excited to introduce a new and exclusive line of SmartPak Western Working Tack. Made from high quality leather, this tack is sure to stand up to the demands of riding, without breaking the bank.
The design of the SmartPak Western Working Tack is powered by SmartPak’s knowledge and expertise. “We’ve worked with industry experts to design a line of tack that is functional and affordable,” said Dan Rollins, Western Buyer at SmartPak. “Once designed, we made sure to extensively test this tack in the field so that we were confident it would meet our customers’ expectations.”
Each piece of SmartPak western tack is made from high quality Hermann Oak Harness leather from heavy native steers, and tanned in the USA at one of the last two environmentally-friendly tanneries. The leather is then drum dyed and hot stuffed to provide a uniform and long-lasting color. The edges are also hand-rubbed to match the face of the leather. Finally, the nickel hardware adds a finishing touch and is built to last. Every detail is thought through to bring you great tack at an even greater value.
There are 14 styles of tack in the collection, and each piece is available in either Natural oiled or Dark oiled finish. Headstalls are available in single-ear or browband styles with the options for either tie or buckle ends. Split reins are available in 5/8” or ½” widths, also with either tie or buckle ends. There are also additional styles of reins such as laced barrel reins and 10′ laced trail reins. You can round out your equipment needs with accessories such as nosebands and curb chains and straps. Bundle options are also available to help you save even more!
“I recently purchased the SmartPak Split Reins Tie End in the dark oil, and I already love them,” said Dan Buttrick, Senior Product Specialist at SmartPak, and a life-long western rider. “These reins have all my favorite features including tapered ends that allow the reins to hang properly, a soft oiled finished for a comfortable grip, and classic tie ends that are perfect for either showing or schooling. The best part of these reins is that their quality will have everyone in the barn wanting to borrow them, but at a price that won’t make you nervous to let your friends use them.”
