While some spent Easter weekend hunting for eggs, dining on Grandma’s ham and egg salad, and attending a church service, others opted to attend the 2018 Aggie Super Circuit, March 28th-April 1st at College Station in Bryan, Texas. Known as one of the longest running, continuous horse shows in Texas, the 2018 event hosted four complete AQHA shows as well as a special event show. Judges for the regular show were Brent Maxwell, Kendra Weis, Chris Jones, and Judd Paul. Tanya Green judged the one-day special event on Thursday.
In addition, the Texas Quarter Horse Association Champion of Champions event was part of the schedule. The Champions of Champions was a specialized show for novice youth and amateur riders with classes that were held in conjunction with the novice classes at the Aggie Super Circuit. Classes included Showmanship, Western Pleasure, Western Riding, Ranch Riding, Horsemanship, Hunter Under Saddle, Equitation, and Trail.
Congratulations to the Champions of Champions!
Thanks to An Equine Production, we have complete results to share from the event, as well as fun photos, courtesy of TQHA. Word is the Easter Bunny even made an appearance, in cowboy boots!
