Calling All High Schoolers! USEF High School Equestrian Athlete Program Starts in June

The USEF High School Equestrian Athlete program is open to equestrian athletes in all breeds or disciplines, who are enrolled in grades 9-12, and are currently USEF members, or become USEF members. The program runs June 1–May 31 of each year, and will honor those who document their training and competition involvement by awarding emblems and pins as a symbol of their achievement.

Thoroughbred race horses can reach speeds of up to 40 miles per hour and Quarter Horses can reach top speeds of 55 miles per hour, so drag is as important in horse racing as it is in auto racing or cycling.

Congrats Mandy McCutcheon For Becoming First Non-Pro and Female NRHA $2 Million Rider

The National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) congratulates its newest Two Million Dollar Rider, Mandy McCutcheon, for unofficially becoming the first non pro and first female rider to earn the designation. Most recently McCutcheon won her sixth National Reining Breeders Classic (NRBC) Non Pro Championship and earned reserve champion honors at the Kentucky Reining Cup.
