Following in the theme of celebrating youth exhibitors, there were plenty of fun events on the schedule, like the Youth Boot Race on Friday, Youth Ride A Buck on Saturday, and Youth Sack Race on Sunday. The highlight of the show was the Youth Scholarship Challenge, which was open to all youth exhibitors for no cost. The format allowed for one horse and one rider combination to declare three performance classes and one halter class to count for points.
Continue reading …The L1 Youth Walk Trot was a new division this year bringing the total money awarded to a whopping $11,000! Since the Scholarship Challenge started in 2013, over $80,000 has been awarded to youth exhibitors, thanks to generous sponsors. Congratulations goes to the winners!
