There was a tie broken for second and third; both received $6,250. Placing third was Cleve Wells with Colman for Gerald Kimmel. Fourth place was Gil Galyean aboard Show Gurl for Bill and Susan Blackburn-Baskin. There was a tie broken for fourth and fifth; both received $3,250. Fifth place was Brian Cox with Loping Radical for Allen and Marilyn Wade.

The popularity of those classes in the first year has led to adding two more Novice Select classes for 2016 – Trail and Showmanship.
