“My goal is to showcase young Western Pleasure and Hunter Under Saddle horses in a way that benefits owner, trainers, and the industry as a whole. I try to keep the entry cost down; because, as someone who has been involved in multiple programs focused on futurity horses, I know how many variables go into getting them ready, as well as the risk of them simply not making it to the pen.”

Horses competing during the Pleasure Versatility Challenge are shown sequentially in three classes in the Jim Norick Arena: a pattern class consisting of a blending of simplified Trail and Western Riding maneuvers, which counts 40 percent; a Western Pleasure class, which counts 40 percent; and a conformation class, which counts 20 percent.

The National Snaffle Bit Foundation is excited to be putting on a fun and fast-paced competition that will test the mental skill and physical endurance of “Cowboy Ninjas” at the 2020 Arizona Sun Circuit.

The Madness, held May 8-17 in Wilmington, Ohio and the Redbud Spectacular, held May 30-June 7 in Oklahoma City, will host the two Great American Stallion Incentive events this year, offering opportunity for Western Pleasure and Western Riding horses to compete for a piece of the $30,000 incentive purse for 2020.
