Meet the 2022 YES Keynote Speaker: Courtenay DeHoff

The American Quarter Horse Youth Association is excited to have Courtenay DeHoff as the 2022 AQHYA Youth Excellence Seminar keynote speaker. The 2022 Youth Excellence Seminar is slated for July 12 – 14 in Amarillo. Courtenay, the cowgirl turned TV host, grew up in Tonganoxie, Kansas, showing Angus cattle and competing in rodeo events.

In 1940, the ranch registered 250 mares and stallions with the fledgling American Quarter Horse Association, and in 1973, its 257,000 acres were purchased by John N. Irwin II’s JJJ Corp. Today, it is majority owned by Irwin’s daughter, Jane Irwin Droppa, and her family.
