Be sure to clear your Friday evening for the main event, the Equine Chronicle Color Classic Open and Limited 2-Year-Old Western Pleasure classes. The Open Color Classic will run first at approximately 5:00 pm. Then, the prestigious POA McClaren Futurity will take place. Finally, the evening will conclude with the Limited division of the Color Classic.

For Heeley’s win with “Rosie,” a three-year-old mare by The Immortal and out of a daughter of Zippo Jack Bar, he and owner Robert Roger received a check for $3,850, a $500 maiden bonus check, a Reichert Celebration custom buckle, a Harris Leather and Silverworks show saddle, and a free breeding to Born To Be Blazing. That’s quite the haul considering that Heeley didn’t get Rosie in training until the very last day of the NSBA World Show.

Today, in order to “Celebrate” and welcome the Western Pleasure Super Sires program to the Reichert Celebration, there will be a Super Sires Party from 3-7 in the John Justin building in the newly-created air-conditioned room that is located directly across from the Reichert sale horses stalling area. Everyone at the show is encouraged to attend. There will be free food, a cash bar, and the opportunity to chat with attending Committee members and stallion owners.
