Continue reading …“Since there is some confusion regarding the World Wide Paint Horse Congress and the Green Country Paint Horse shows, we felt it beneficial to explain the situation,” stated Congress Chair Casey West. “These two shows (WWPHC 8 judges and GCPHC 4 judges) are independent of each other. They are two separate, independent shows, being held at the same facility, in different arenas, with ALL stall reservations/payments being made to Diane Gage, Congress Show Secretary.”
Continue reading …One of the main events that has taken place thus far is the National Quarter Horse League Big A Open Trail Derby on Sunday, which was sponsored by Sea Ridge Farms. After two rounds of competition, the big winner was Bruce Vickery aboard In Prinzziples Image for Kelly, Tim, and Chaney Getchell. The team earned $750 for their efforts and scored an impressive total of 496.5 points, an 80.5 and 83 respectively.
Continue reading …One entry rose above the rest to earn the championship title: Mckenzie Lantz and Non Stop Nimble, donated to the competition by owner Pamela Gordnier and thanks to Hoyts Training (Jennifer Hoyt), marked a 145.5 for the win. Lantz is a senior majoring in sports management at the University of Georgia.

Continue reading …The two top Youth judgers each took home a $500 scholarship: Dylan Price of the Illinois IP was the High-Point Senior Individual Overall, earning a score of 682 and winning a tie-breaker with second-place individual, Dean Klahr of Jackson County, Kansas. Jerilyn Nelson of Jackson County, Kansas, scored 575 points to win the High-Point Junior Individual Overall title.
