2014 AjPHA Youth World Reports Entry Increase of 10%- 1,560 Entries

Preliminary numbers indicate an increase in entries over the 2013 Youth World Show. When the dust settled and the final champion was named, the show had 330 horses entered, a 15 percent increase over 2013. Entries also grew, with with a total of 1,560 paid entries, a 10 percent increase over 2013. Forty-five states and international countries were represented.

Get of Sire and Produce of Dam classes, presented by Title Sponsor Merial, will be staged on Saturday, August 2nd. Two additional sponsors of these classes are Snow Quarter Horses and My Intentions. Also on the venue for Saturday is the Lynn Simons Memorial/WCHA classes, topped off with the judging of a Champion of Champion Open Yearling class.

Last night, Caroline Ammons piloted Ginnin to a win in the Non-Pro Trail Derby winning $450. The team received a combined score of 244, with an 81, 81.5, and 81.5 under judges Murray Griggs, Judd Paul, and Karen Graham, respectively.
