The Region 8 Championship Show will host three judges and the three Quarter Horse shows will host three judges with three sets of AQHA points. The show will start at 7:30 am daily.

While the association has met or beat its budget in the last several years, it has operated at a budgeted net loss; in those years, the deficit in operating revenue was met by revenue generated by the association’s investment funds. In 2014, however, actual income exceeded actual expenses, resulting in a net profit for the association.

Continue reading …In conjunction with the prize money that will already be up for grabs during the competition year, AQHA members Rick and Lori Bucholz of Waterloo, Nebraska, have generously added a $2,500 bonus for American Quarter Horses competing in the Pre-Green Championship. To earn the added bonus, the horse must be an American Quarter Horse and earn the combined top score from rounds 1 and 2.
