The Youth World Championship Show takes place ​June 27–July 9 in Fort Worth, Texas. Youth World Show classes will run Jun 28–July 6, with a supplemental event held July 7–9; additional details on this supplemental event will be released at a later date.

The tentative schedule for the American Quarter Horse Association’s 2016 Adequan® Select World Championship Show is now available online. The Adequan® Select World, which is August 26 – September 3 at the Amarillo National Center in Amarillo, features the world’s top amateur riders, age 50 and over, and their American Quarter Horses. The Appaloosa Museum is a repository of Native American, early settler artifacts from throughout the Northwest and holds the history of the Appaloosa horse including historic artifacts from the Appaloosa Horse Club. Located in the heart of Palouse Country, visitors come from all over the world to see and enjoy the heritage of the horse named for the region.

Qualifying for the APHA World Show isn’t hard—simply compete at a minimum of four approved events under eight judges, and your horse is qualified to compete in ANY class and eligible division at the APHA World Show, which takes place November 2–12, 2016.

Due to the high demand for ranch horse classes at this show, Ranch Horse Conformation and Ranch Trail have been added for youth, amateur and open exhibitors. In addition, a Ranch Horse clinic is slated for Friday, taught by AQHA Team Wrangler Professional Horseman, Marty Simper.
